TIME OUT

Our dynamic new production for grades 5 and 6 combines live music and physical theater to draw our young audiences into a recognisable and heartfelt story. Three sixth-graders are doing their best to figure out the rules of this game called life. It's not easy navigating all those hurdles on the track. Schoolwork, parental expectations, friendships. Why is everything so complicated?
Sofie, D and Benny are all part of the same sports team. The Dolphins. D is new on the team and really good, like really really good. She poses a big challenge for the otherwise mild mannered team captain Sofie. Sofie just wants to play basketball.
Benny is the team's number one bench-sitter. Enthusiastic about every game, he has a lot of fun at training. But  actually playing against another team? That's just crazy!
Sofie and Benny's long time friendship struggling and when Sofie gets an F in Maths she knows her parents will take her off the team. To top it all off the next game is against the reigning champions: The Tigers. Will they wineith D but without Sofie. Will they lose? Does it really matter? How will they ever get through the season let alone the next game if they don't even like each other?
These three characters are learning that sometimes you need to call a time-out, reconnect with your team and change your tactic before you can conquer the field.

The show is designed specifically for sports halls and shows are now bookable through our website.
