Kerstin Junge studied Fine Arts at Muthesius Art Academy Kiel in the class of Hannes Brunner from 1997-2003. She was also an exchange student for six months in Norway at Bergen Art Academy. The center of her art works were installations and performances. In 2001 she got a scholarship in Hoejer, Denmark. In 2003 she received a second scholarship in Iceland, Reykjavik. This was a period to work on drawing series. She received the NordWestLotterie-Award in Germany for her diploma in 2003. After her Fine Arts studies she did a masters degree in set design at Technische Universität Berlin. She started to work as an assistant set designer at Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Thalia Theater Hamburg and Staatsschauspiel Dresden. During her time as an assistant she also did her own projects. Since 2009 Kerstin works as a freelance set and costume designer at theaters like Theater der Altmark, Theater Naumburg or Staatstheater Darmstadt, and also for independent theater in Berlin. She did the set design for FOX and JUST THIRTEEN.
We are an independent Berlin-based theater group, which develops and produces English-language or bilingual plays for children and teenagers. We explore themes which interest us and which tie in with the experiences of our audience.
