Born 1979, New Zealand. An actress who made her first professional debut in 1995 with the Bats Theatre in Wellington. She eventually moved on to work with Victoria University Shakespeare Productions playing the role of Audrey in 'As You Like It'. In 2000 she performed as Alice in 'Closer', directed by Jonathon Hendry. Amy made her first television appearance as Kimberly Wallasee in the series, 'Shortland Street' in 1998. She continued to work in television until she moved to Spain in 2003. Based in Madrid for the next 6 years she worked with the 'Face 2 Face Theatre Company' performing and devising fast-paced comedy shows. Amy Nye achieved significant success at the 'Teatro Alcazár' in Madrid performing with the company in 'A Christmas Carol'. In 2010 she performed in 'Love Puke' as Louise at the English Theater Berlin.
