Now that the prosecco bottle is dry, the fireworks have fizzled into the distance and the Christmas turkey was so last year, we are well and truly into the swing of 2016.
The start of a New Year is often a time for reflection and a chance to evaluate the past 12 months and for us at Platypus this is no different, we have been reflecting on 2015. We thank everyone who has supported Platypus over the last year, helping us show how English Theatre can be an enjoyable and become a stimulating experience for young people of today.
Here are last year’s statistics:
99 performances in Berlin, seen by 18,571 people.
23 performances on tour, seen by 3,474 people.
Our new programme for March-July is now online. For those of you who are on the mailing list, hard copies should have arrived by now. As usual, we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.
Also, our new website is nearly ready and we can’t wait to launch it. We think it looks great, if we may say so ourselves. So stay tuned, we will let you know when it’s ready
